Do you know how much CO² emissions you are responsible for when you place an order with Mory & Meier? We tell you: For a whole 0 kg!

Why? In view of the ever-increasing climate challenges, we made a decision to go climate-neutral.
The background to our decision was to find out how much CO² we emit on average with our machines and employees and how we can compensate for this.

On average, we produce just under 35 kg of CO² per order.
As 2020 came to an end we could look back at over 4000 planted trees.

Without to mention our continuous efforts to a more efficient and greener production process.
With this in mind we can with good conscience be excited about any future cooperation in order to plant even more trees with you.

To further improve our ecological footprint, we have decided to exclusively use green energy for production.

The world’s first book production ever to be realized entirely by screen printing using photochromatic inks. Exciting task with the agency Serviceplan. Dozens of preliminary tests regarding color mixtures and paper matching. Production time (printing) 10 working days, volume 62 pages, printing 3/3 color screen printing, exclusively photochromatic colors. Due to this extraordinary idea and its implementation in screen printing, the agency (and we with it) collected dozens of awards worldwide. Among others also the coveted Grand Prix of Cannes.

Miele relies on screen printing with photochromatic inks from Mory & Meier

A printing process that gives print ads a head start.

Screen printing with photochromatic inks applies light-sensitive pigments to the advertising paper. When the motif is opened and light falls on the double page, the steam above the pot disappears as if by magic (see article image & video). The pigments are reactivated when the page is opened. In this way, the otherwise static medium is transformed into a moving image without any digital technology, solely through the interaction of light-sensitive pigments and a multi-stage screen and offset printing process.

Very exciting collaboration with the famous artist and graphic designer Ugo Dossi for several years. Screen printing on previously prepared plexiglass plates, which were refined with a special process. One version was presented to the Nobel Prize winners in physics, and a giant plate (our largest screen print) hangs in the European Patent Office.

Industrial screen printing for sail world production

A one-week stay in Sri Lanka to update the entire screen printing facility of the North Sails company through training by Mr. Meier. At that time, the production ran according to the knowledge of screen printing arts from the manual of a British housewife who printed her pillows on the kitchen table. Mind you, this was industrial screen printing for the sailing world production, which was nevertheless on a very high level due to the technical possibilities.
