Braille print
Reading- a millennium-old dream of mankind. Symbols were carved over time, chiseled, cut, etc. When paper was invented, people had a medium to write on.
History
Gutenberg created with the movable letters and the resulting letterpress printing a world-wide technical revolution. Only one group of people was excluded from the luxury of “reading” – namely blind people.
Louis Braille had a brilliant idea in 1825. He made writing legible for blind people. He developed a script from raised dots that in a certain constellation produced letters. In this way, even blind people could feel the writing and thus read it. With modern technology, this script is embossed or digitally printed, which is very time-consuming and expensive.
This is where screen printing comes into play, which can also handle high volumes at low cost. Thanks to a long series of tests, we are in a position to print Braille in compliance with norms.
Our aim is to use our technology and corresponding know-how to give blind people the joy of reading at affordable prices.
